Code of Conduct

Employees, Contracted workers and the Management of InPlace Care shall abide by the following:

  1.         Act solely in the best interest of InPlace Care, all stakeholders, and its clients in the performance of their duties, demonstrating through words and actions a respect for individual human rights
  2.         Conduct themselves professionally, with truth, accuracy, fairness and responsibility and promote a positive work environment
  3.         Not misrepresent their qualifications, competence or experience, nor undertake assignments beyond their capabilities
  4.         Treat as Commercial in Confidence all information gained in relation to InPlace Care’ activities or those of its clients or stakeholders, where such information may include any device, graphics, written material or other information in tangible or intangible form, relating to the activities of InPlace Care or its clients or stakeholders, with the exception of information placed in the public domain by the authority of the Committee of Management
  5.         Return to InPlace Care upon request (and in any event upon termination of your employment or contractual obligations with InPlace Care however arising), all documents and tangible items belonging to the organisation or which contain or refer to any confidential information which is in your possession or under your control
  6.         Refrain from providing independent, contracted services attracting personal remuneration, to any of InPlace Care’ clients or stakeholders whilst in the employment of, or under contract with InPlace Care, or upon termination of your employment/contracted consultancy with InPlace Care however arising, for a period of at least twelve months after formal termination
  7.         Protect all information relating to the competitive positioning of InPlace Care and its commercial interests
  8.         Not intentionally communicate false or misleading information which may compromise the integrity of InPlace Care’ services, products, or corporate reputation
  9.         Act lawfully and employ safe work practices that minimise exposure to risk for yourself and others.

 

                        

                                                                     

 

 

Code of Ethics

In keeping with high standards of ethical conduct, employees, contracted workers and Members of the Management Committee of InPlace Care shall:

1)             Operate with honesty, integrity, and impartiality, and serve with loyalty the interests of InPlace Care, its clients and the public

2)             Strive to build capacity within the community services sector through sharing of information and knowledge

3)             Use personal knowledge and skills for the advancement of the community services sector, and in promoting the safety and reliability of products and services for public use

4)             Disclose to InPlace Care any business connections, interests or affiliations which may present a Conflict of Interest and/or influence personal judgment or impair the equitable character of services provided

5)             Not disclose information concerning the confidential business affairs or technical processes of any present or former organization, employer or client without its proper consent

6)             Endeavour to actively extend public knowledge of the work of InPlace Care as it relates to the advancement of evidence-based practice in the community services sector

7)             Not accept compensation from more than one party for the same service without the consent of all parties

8)             Be dignified and modest in explaining and promoting personal work and merit

9)             Take care that credit for the work of others is given to those to whom it is due

10)          Respect the opinions and diverse cultural and religious beliefs of peers and associates, InPlace Care’ clients, stakeholders and community representatives, and embrace the principle of social inclusion for all

11)          Refrain from bullying or harassment or any form of discrimination in the workplace

12)          Provide full disclosure to Management of any fraudulent, corrupt, or illegal activities or conduct of which you become aware, which constitutes a breach of this Code of Ethics.
