Welcome to the InPlace Care service where our goal is to bring together people who need support to stay healthy at home and Carers who get joy from providing care and support.


In the Australian Aged Care market nowadays, there is a clear focus to provide services where people can Age InPlace, which means they can grow old in the comfortable surrounds of their home. The Commonwealth Government has a range of Home Care support packages that underpin this Aging InPlace intent. These packages are administered through the My Aged Care portal and they start with a review of the Client and assessment of their needs. Our service looks to support this and is available to people who have Commonwealth Home Care funding or wish to pay privately for services.


Quality of support is a foundation of our service and for this reason we are pleased to say that all the Carers registered on our Service have been thoroughly checked for their credentials and Police Check status. The Carers you will meet on our service will present themselves and allow you to engage in direct communication to discuss the type of support needed and the timings of appointments that suit. We urge you to have several Carers within your portfolio of support to ensure continuity of service, providing the best cycle of care and support you can for the Client.


Fast, clear communication is our goal, so we have advised the Carers to be reactive to all messages on our service.


Our fees for use of our service are transparent. InPlace Care charge a fee to all Supporters ontop of the carer set rate for the use of our service. The Carers are independent service providers and importantly set their own rate for their services for Weekday, Weekend and Overnight work. The final rate you see on the platform includes our Service Fee and there are no additional charges.


The final communication from your Carer confirming the dates, times and rates should be considered a contract between yourself and the Carer. InPlace Care will bill you directly through your registered  Credit Card on behalf of the Carer and return the Net Carer fees directly to them. The billing will complete automatically at the end of the service, any concerns or queries must be addressed direct to our Administration team on admin@InPlacecare.com.au. Importantly we do not bill in advance of the service as we feel this is fairer to all parties, we do however have a full fee cancellation charge for all appointments cancelled within two hours of the start time.


Safety for our Carers is important so we ask you to complete our self check OHS reviews for all homes / places where our Carers will be attending, please provide a copy of this OHS report to the Carer upon their first visit to your Client.


Lastly, how we leave a Client feeling is paramount to our core belief and we urge you to fill out a Carer review after each service.
