Welcome to the InPlace Care service where our goal is to bring together people who need support to stay healthy at home and carers who get joy from providing care and support.


In the Australian Aged Care market nowadays, there is a clear focus to provide services where people can Age InPlace, which means they can grow old in the comfortable surrounds of their home. The Commonwealth Government has a range of Home Care support packages that underpin this Aging InPlace intent.


Quality of care is a foundation of our service and for this reason we are pleased to offer support work to those Carers that want to make a difference to peoples’ lives. It is important that you register all your experience and qualifications on our service including a current Police Check and Working with Children’s Check if you have one.  The Supporters and Clients you will meet on our service will present themselves and allow you to engage in direct communication to discuss the type of support needed and the timings of appointments that suit. We urge you to make yourself available as much as you can to enable each Supporter to enjoy continuity of service, providing the best cycle of support you can for the Client.


Fast, clear communication is our goal, so we stress that you need to be reactive to all messages on our service as quickly as you can.


Our fees for use of our service are transparent. InPlace Care charge a fee to all Carers for the use of our service. Remember that you are independent service provider and importantly must set your own rate for their services for Weekday, Weekend and Overnight work based on your experience and qualifications. The minimum rate you can set is $24.00 ph for weekday /weekend and $15.00 for overnight. As an independent worker we require you to advise us of your ABN as a sole trader and submit your earnings each year on your Taxation return. The final communication from you to the Supporter confirming the dates, times and rates should be considered a contract between yourself and the Supporter. InPlace Care will bill the Supporter directly on your behalf and return the Net fees (after deduction of InPlace Care fee)  directly to you within 7 days. The billing will complete automatically at the end of the service. Any concerns or queries must be addressed direct to our Administration team on info@inplacecare.com.au. Importantly we do not bill in advance of the service as we feel this is fairer to all parties, we do however have a full fee cancellation charge for all appointments cancelled by the Supporter within two hours of the start time. If you need to cancel the appointment at any stage please call the Supporter and try and reschedule, if this is not suitable to the Supporter please call the InPlace Care administration team immediately so we can try and find a replacement Carer.


Safety for our Carers is important so we ask you to review the Supporter self check OHS reviews for all homes / places where you will be attending, ask for this on your first visit to the premises.


Lastly, how we leave a Client feeling is paramount to our core belief and we urge you to leave the Client in a positive way, remember the Supporter will fill out a carer review for each new Carer.
